Human individuals often forget that they have more in them than they consider possible.
We are all created in the likeness of the God of gods and the Creator provided enough in each individual to be able to sustain in the creation.
“for the unseen things of him from [the] creation of [the] world [are] clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.” (Romans 1:20 MKJV)
“16 for all things were created in him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through him and for him. 17 and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:16-17 MKJV)
“for Jehovah your god [is] god of gods, and lord of lords, a great god, the mighty, and a terrible god, who does not respect persons nor take a bribe.” (Deuteronomy 10:17 MKJV)
“for you were not called to this? for christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps,” (1 Peter 2:21 MKJV)
“he who says he abides in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.” (1 John 2:6 MKJV)
“2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience; 3 among whom we also had our way of life in times past, in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.” (Ephesians 2:2-3 MKJV)
“25 therefore I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. yet your heavenly father feeds them; are you not much better than they are? 27 which of you [by] being anxious can add one cubit to his stature? 28 and why are you anxious about clothing? consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. they do not toil, nor do they spin, 29 but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 therefore if god so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, [will he] not much rather [clothe] you, little-faiths? 31 therefore do not be anxious, saying, what shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, with what shall we be clothed? 32 for the nations seek after all these things. for your heavenly father knows that you have need of all these things. 33 but seek first the kingdom of god and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. 34 therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow shall be anxious for its own things. sufficient to the day [is] the evil of it.” (Matthew 6:25-34 MKJV)
- Creator and Blogger God 2 Image and likeness (bijbelvorser.wordpress.com)
Once God spoke everything He said became true. As Creator He was totally in charge, but He wanted to make somebody else who was in His image, reflecting His nature, which naturally would not make that person being the same person as Him. God created human beings; he created them godlike, reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female.
- Creator and Blogger God 1 Emptiness and mouvement (bijbelvorser.wordpress.com)
From the black hole, the emptiness or darkness the Creator of the universe also had to create the raw/base material. After He provided the commodity He could bring the ingredients together, botch them together, format them but also had to program them. Without programming the machine, it would not do much and could not do much.
- Do not worry (almachavezgonzales.wordpress.com)
It is a wake up call for every one not to worry too much on material things. Don’t dwell with it as this is the only reason why you work, why you need to earn. It is better to trust God and believe to Him. Because God is the one who provides for our needs. Because the real measure of wealth is what will be ours in eternity.
- Mirror Exercises for Peace (thelbdessentialsforlife.wordpress.com)
I know there is a legal definition of a sound mind and a more elegant biblical way to say this but I want to make it simple– “Sound mind in 2 Timothy 1:7 is a spirit of self-discipline–sometimes translated as “a sound mind”–and is one of the characteristics of Christ-followers. Nobody who has experienced God’s grace need be timid or afraid with God at their side.”(1) So “A spirit of fear” is not of God!
- We are all part of nature (edgarghahramanyan.wordpress.com)
The thing I have to realize and accept is that we are all part of nature, so if nature is having a very very bad day then we are also bound to feel some of that backlash. So if there was nothing but constant rain and strong winds for the past 4 days, then there is absolutely no way that any human living in that condition will not feel a slight effect on themselves.
- The Sure Provision of God (refugedevotions.wordpress.com)
One of the greatest struggles of Christianity is trusting in the provision of God. I know that many of us at Refuge struggle to pay the bills every month. The world views the concept of provision very simply: It’s all up to you. Work harder, be smarter, get that promotion, and play politics at work, and you might just bring home enough to pay your bills. Because of the universal saturation of this ideal, the Christian will continually face the temptation to live in this way. The truth of Matthew 6:25-26 gives us a different, better, and freeing paradigm: God’s faithfulness.
- Seven things you need to seek with utmost urgency (waltbrite.wordpress.com)
Seek life first… “life is more than food and drink.” Life is knowing God and being known by him. Chase after things that are lasting and most valuable.
Seek faith + reason + understanding + righteousness + Seek kingdom first
- The Pep Talk You Need Today (authorcynthiaherron.com)
each one of us has “baggage.” Some loads are heavier. Some, more colorful. Some, unremarkable, really, when compared on a bigger scale to things like widespread hunger, third world poverty, or the national deficit.
