I was teacher also during Soviet times. It was not really the same for every person, for every school., etc. In my case, Soviet times caused me to hate anything politics, anything propaganda and anything for masses. I have been living for a long time in completely other settings now, but some things never change: I don’t believe in any type of propaganda whether coming from the West, East or anywhere else, I totally cannot stand all this brain-washing stuff. Whatever the system, it has its drawbacks, and the more artificial the system is, the sooner it is going to fail.

Problem with a lot of people is that they often do not want to question or investigate the things said by their local media and their own government. A lot of people are not aware they become a victim of the propaganda.

As you say every worldly system “has its drawbacks, and the more artificial the system is, the sooner it is going to fail.” though we do have to be very careful, because certain systems when we do allow them to come in existence could stay longer in poser than ever wished.
