Coming closer to the end of 2015 and the end for Donald Trump as presidential candidate

People saying “I am”

The year that started with people all over the world shouting “Je suis Charlie” being followed in November with “Je suis Paris” has brought more division by some lunatics who want to conquer the world and who want to assure they’ll have enough political power to set everybody to their hand.

Nuclear power not sufficient to destabilise

After many months of tough and principled diplomacy, the United States — joined by the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, China, and the European Union — achieved the framework for a deal that will cut off every pathway Iran could take to develop a nuclear weapon. By this joint agreement many thought the fear could eb away for the Western World. But 2015 had something different in mind for mankind. Atomic weapons would not be so interesting for those who wanted to govern others and to get more territory. Some folks in the East knew this very well and had already tried to destabilise the then biggest power in the world. Just a few planes were enough to bring much more impact without losing the grounds to spread further the idea of their world conquest.

All the splinter-groups of al Qaeda seemed to find new energy in efforts of the local people to overthrow the government. The West not interested in those south eastern countries, because they did not need their oil, left those countries in disintegrated pieces. Not a simple stick but the shabble was thrown in the henhouse. Some Islamic forces could find this to be the ideal time to take their battle at home and even tried to lure European friends and sympathisers into their subjugation.

Iran agreed to reduce its installed centrifuges by two-thirds and would no longer enrich uranium at its Fordow facility, and it will not enrich uranium with its advanced centrifuges for at least the next 10 years. And the vast majority of its stockpile of enriched uranium will be neutralized.

What not get neutralised was the thought about the perverted West which had to learn a lesson. Whilst ayatollahs were not going to force the West onto their knees any more stronger man would let them see their ass.

Forcing people out and earning at their trafficking

Smuggling and trafficking have become very lucrative criminal offences and those who frightened the fleeing people were happy to find in them an other financial source. Those responsible should be relentlessly pursued and the media should do everything to stop the misinformation about those refugees. Especially in the United States certain politicians saw a handy weapon in those moving around people who had nowhere to stay. Thy were fleeing the bullies in their homeland to face other bullies and politicians with a big mouth.

Whilst the EESC insists that neither the migrants themselves nor those delivering humanitarian assistance to migrants in distress should be criminalised some try to make use of the fear for those refugees to increase their popularity and to create a hatred for other people than the own sort.

In the United States some forgot that at the statue of liberty is written

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Discrimination top priority for some Americans

At the beginning of the year the Republican party was eager to bring the billionaire with a big mouth as their ideal answer to the more shy black president. Every month he had something new to shock the Europeans. Even when he showed to the world how he estimates the value of the feminine essence, the conservative social and political commentator, writer, syndicated columnist, and lawyer Ann Coulter, stayed his biggest cheerleader until she got most impressed with his latest xenophobic gimmick. In Europe we knew already that he and his entourage are not so happy with people from different origin than Caucasians.

Trumpet-blower Trump trumping

Erick Erickson by Gage Skidmore.jpg

Politically conservative American blogger and editor-in-chief of the blog site RedState.com Erick Erickson from Jackson in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.

After Donald Trump at the beginning of this week trumped all the Republican candidates for President, Red State editor and Fox News contributor Erick Erickson did not mind telling the world his parents were a bit racist and he’s nostalgic for the days when it was socially acceptable to be so. This News channel contributor once again showed how miserable it is with the knowledge of historical facts, him not knowing that China, the largest part of Asia, was an Ally during WWII, and his parents apparently not able to distinguish Koreans from Japanese people.

The man with a big mouth not afraid to call his own party members awful names and to make them look ridiculous in public, once more showed his special playing cards, but this time could not hide any more his weird ideas that can endanger the democratic position of the United states. At last some republicans their eyes got opened when this fortunate businessman called to ban all Muslims to enter to the United States.

Having spent many years and hundreds of millions of dollars wresting control of the House and Senate from Democrats, the Republicans now, at last came to see that Donald Trump is putting it all in jeopardy. They also should know that by this man the far right is able to become stronger and getting bolder and louder. With them Trump wants others to believe that those immigrants would not pay taxes yet receive government services and worse, that the people coming here from abroad are inherently criminal.

In his statement Monday afternoon, Trump called for

“a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

He argued that all Muslims should be considered suspect.

“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,”

Muslims counter ISIL, ISIS, Al Qaeda and other jihad fighters

For him all Muslims are the same bunch as the extremists of ISIL and all refugees, according to him or a dangerous treat for our society. Like many Americans he did not come to understand those attackers in Paris were Belgian and French and their attack was organised from Molenbeek, a quarter in Brussels, the capital of Belgium and Europe, which over the past four decades has a substantial Muslim community. Is he next also to exclude all Belgians and French entering the United states because they are too dangerous?

Before Trump got were he is standing now politically he tried to win votes by several groups, also minorities and Muslims. Some years ago Trump did as if he showed sympathy with the Muslim community of New York.

Entertainment mogul Russell Simmons, who co-founded the hip-hop music label Def Jam, and with whom Trump has been friends with for Ever three decades wrote to Trump

“You are a born leader, who is set to possibly win the nomination of your party, but don’t compromise what I know is in your heart to do it.”

“You are a generous, kind man who has built a career on negotiating deals where everybody wins. Now, you seem like a one-man wrecking ball willing to destroy our nation’s foundation of freedom.”

“Stop the bullshit. Stop fueling fires of hate. Don’t feed into the rhetoric created by small-minded people. You’re smarter and certainly more loving then you let on.”

Outrageous divisiveness

Governor John Kasich.jpg

From Czech descent, Governor John Kasich, Candidate for the Republican nomination for president in 2016

69th and current Governor of Ohio, John Kasich expressed what more Americans should take in mind, and what the majority in Europe already knew for months.

“This is just more of the outrageous divisiveness that characterizes his every breath and another reason why he is entirely unsuited to lead the United States.”

Unseen before, we got on television from the Pentagon and from the White House the announcements that such thought is unworthy for somebody presenting him as a candidate for presidency of the United States of America.

White House, spokesman Josh Earnest said the candidate’s proposed anti-Muslim travel ban was “materially different” from previous remarks, so much so that they would disqualify him to be president. He scolded the GOP field broadly for being

“cowed by Trump”

and argued that candidates who are reluctant to stand up to him

“have no business serving as president of the United States themselves.”

At the Pentagon, officials said the type of rhetoric that portrays the war against the  transnational Sunni insurgent group ISIL as a war against the Muslim faith poses a national security threat.

“Anything that tries to bolster the ISIL narrative that the United States is somehow at war with Islam is contrary to our values and contrary to our national security,’’

said Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook.

Exploiting xenophobia a dangerous game

Already earlier South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham was first to respond, calling the statement “downright dangerous” to the United States, and he was quickly followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who called it “ridiculous” and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush who called Trump “unhinged.”

As editor of conservative website Redstate, Eric Erickson, lauded Trump’s “brilliant” proposal, after earlier commemorating the bombing of Pearl Harbor by waxing nostalgic about his parents’ annual racist exercise of avoiding “Asian food.”

“Donald Trump not only got himself to the right of all the other candidates, but also got every single one of them save for Ted Cruz to align themselves with Barack Obama,”

Erickson wrote on his website.

Speaking to reporters, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz declined to condemn Trump, saying

“that is not my policy.”

He, like Kentucky physician Sen. Rand Paul have called for bans on refugees from countries where Islamic extremist groups are active. Paul’s plan went even further, introducing legislation to temporarily ban all visas from most countries with large Muslim populations, along with countries like Russia and North Korea.

Ben Carson told reporters there should be no religious test for travelling to the U.S., but said all visitors should be monitored.

Dick Cheney said his proposed ban on Muslim immigrants

“goes against everything we stand for and believe in as a country.”

From several North American blogs we get the impression that many have forgotten their own roots and were their family came from and whey their ancestors left Europe. Today they are denying the same opportunities their own family members had to people who are trying to do the same as those fortune seekers.

Lots of Americans are swept from the carpet by the foul words Trump dares to use. In a certain way we got used to his provocative extreme reactions and never could imagine he was going to make it to president. But he already got further than we had imagined. And with the extreme right everywhere becoming stronger we should be careful for such people with a big mouth and such a bullying attitude. History has proven what certain lunatics may accomplish and in the end were able to silence all those standing in their way to their power.

Trump managed to get so far in the battle for presidential candidates and forayed further into the cynical demagoguery that has kept him atop the polls for months. Once again, he has turned the Republican primary fight upside down, though the Republicans and the Teaparty members were never afraid to show others how superior their race is and how everybody shall have to become such a conservative Christian as they are and having the right to wear weapons and use them against whosoever they consider a treat to themselves.

Harry Reid official portrait 2009.jpg

Senior United States Senator from Nevada, Harry Mason Reid, who will retire at the end of his current term on January 3, 2017

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid blamed the Republican Party for harbouring the latent xenophobia that Trump’s campaign is exploiting.

“Donald Trump is standing on a platform of hate that the Republican Party built for him,”

Reid tweeted.

Racism has long been prevalent in Republican politics. Only difference now is that Trump is saying out loud what other Rs merely suggest.”

People on the run

Today with millions of people on the run, those who have lots of money are afraid they shall have to share some of it with some less fortunate people. Many are brought up by receiving everything they wanted and are funded on the greed fostered in them. For them such people daring to come into their living areas makes them a potential danger to be avoided. When some fanatics at the other side of the world help to give the world a wrong view of Islam and of those people with an other colour and other culture, those with money in the West make use of it to make those migrants unpopular.

After the killing of 14 Americans, who were white and black; Latino and Asian; immigrants and American-born; moms and dads; daughters and sons, who came together to celebrate the holidays, each of them served their fellow citizens and all of them were part of the  American family, according to the present President of the States.

President Obama addressed the nation from the Oval Office.

“Let’s not forget that freedom is more powerful than fear; that we have always met challenges — whether war or depression; natural disasters or terrorist attacks — by coming together around our common ideals as one nation and one people. So long as we stay true to that tradition, I have no doubt that America will prevail.”

The American nation has been at war with terrorists since al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

In the process, we’ve hardened our defences — from airports to financial centres, to other critical infrastructure. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies have disrupted countless plots here and overseas, and worked around the clock to keep us safe. Our military and counterterrorism professionals have relentlessly pursued terrorist networks overseas — disrupting safe havens in several different countries, killing Osama bin Laden, and decimating al Qaeda’s leadership.

said the president.

More complex preventing

Everywhere in the Northern sphere we must be strongly aware that over the last few years, however, the terrorist threat has evolved into a new phase. After the 11 September 2001 attacks Article 5 of the North Atlantic treaty was installed, requiring member states to come to the aid of any member state subject to an armed attack. The Nato countries her system of collective defence seemed to have worked so far, and with the intelligence forces was looked at countries which could endanger our nations. Politically, the organization sought better relations with former Warsaw Pact countries, several of which joined the alliance in 1999 and 2004. the intelligence forces came to work together better as well and by exchanging information could help avoid several terrorist acts.

Many Western countries do hope to have become better at preventing complex, multifaceted attacks like 9/11, terrorists turned to less complicated acts of violence like the mass shootings that are all too common in the American society.

President Obama said this week

It is this type of attack that we saw at Fort Hood in 2009, in Chattanooga earlier this year, and now in San Bernardino. And as groups like ISIL grew stronger amidst the chaos of war in Iraq and then Syria, and as the Internet erases the distance between countries, we see growing efforts by terrorists to poison the minds of people like the Boston Marathon bombers and the San Bernardino killers.

That poisoning of the mind of the people of the West is important for those terrorists because by making the Westerners weaker they become stronger and by creating more hatred they will get more sympathisers from the West to undermine even more the Westerners.

We can only hope that America has seen the true face of Donald Trump and got to know what is really in this man’s heart making him not the right choice for a country which wants to carry “freedom” in its emblems.
