Full speech of President Vladimir Putin delivered on 18.03. 2022 in the Great Sports Arena of the Olympic Complex Luzhniki

I would like to share with you here the full speech of President Vladimir Putin, which he delivered on 18.03. 2022 in the Grand Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex (or the vast Luzhniki stadium), where the final of the 2018 World Cup for men and Manchester United’s defeat against Chelsea in the final of the Champions League in 2008 took place.

It was there that Vladimir Putin unexpectedly performed at a concert in Luzhniki to mark the eighth anniversary of Crimea’s reunification with Russia. The participation of the head of state in this event had not been officially announced, so it came as a surprise to thousands of his guests.

He opened his speech with the proclamation of the unity of the Russian people that has a common future based on the first lines of the constitutional text, where every word is filled with deep meaning.

United by a common destiny

During the live broadcast, the President’s speech was interrupted by a technical glitch.

Here is a full version of his speech.

About Guestspeaker

A joint effort of several authors who do find that nobody can keep standing at the side and that “Everyone" must care about what is going on in today’s world. We are a bunch of people who do not mind that somebody has a totally different idea but is willing to share the ideas with others and to be Active and willing to let others understand how "today’s decisions will influence the future”. Therefore we would love to see many others to "Act today".
