Much, much too late I came to know about the Historical Ziegfeld Group, which was placed on Multiply, which stops it service on December the 1st.
The Historical Ziegfeld Group is a proof how many interesting groups can be found on Multiply which should be preserved for the future.
Putting all historic material together, filing it, documenting and providing it with additional comments and research, takes loads of hours. such hours of enthusiast energetic research may not be wasted. Therefore I do hope that Multiply shall offer their bloggers a valuable service to migrate the many articles and photographs to other services, like for example WordPress.

My many Groups on Multiply I do hope to be able to transfer automatically to different WordPress websites, so that all my previous writings, and those interesting articles and responses by others, would not be lost for the future. Too much work and many hours went into it.
When I found out that I could migrate to Blogger, I did that but at first got only 25 messages over from the 177. Afterwards 120 were transferred. When I than Imported those messages from Blogger into WordPress all tags were placed under Categories, so I had manually to change all that. This caused many hours manual correction.
(Hopefully everything should be all right now.)
I do hope those transferred messages will also generate some viewers.
Do enjoy your reading.

Ending Multiply relationship
It can well be that most of us are probably aware that Multiply’s mission has evolved over the past year and a half to become one the biggest and most beloved ecommerce marketplace in two very exciting markets, Indonesia and the Philippines.

From December 1st, they will unfortunately no longer be able to support Multiply in its current form – notably they will be removing the social networking and content sharing part of Multiply (photos, videos, blogs, social messaging, etc.).

Ending on December the 1°:

Export Tools Are Coming!
It looks like export tools are almost ready. So far they’re only showing up in groups and I’ve tried both tools and both gave me errors. So obviously things aren’t entirely ready for us yet. But I thought I’d post a few screen shots so that you all at least get a sense of what’s coming (without ruining your opportunity to export. I’m a little curious as to whether I’ll be able to export the group I started now that I get error messages every time I hit the export links. We’ll see.)
