José Antonio Vergara talking in Esperanto about the outbreak of the epidemic

José Antonio Vergara, an epidemiologist from Chile, a former member of the UEA, was interviewed by Katalin Kovats during the pandemic due to the coronary virus / coronavirus (according to José Antonio !!!).

In the interview José Antonio talks about the outbreak of the epidemic, and its rise to a global pandemic. He explains how the virus behaves, the dangers, how we can effectively protect ourselves against it and also address the various strategies that individual countries have chosen or have had to continue to fight against the virus.

It is good that with an international language borders can crossed with this very important educational initiative.
Particularly in the current crisis situation, in the face of drastic changes in many people their daily lives, for many also with difficulties of mood changes and others, to cope with  and the confusion that is likely to arise due to the circulation of misinformation about the current pandemic, everyone really needs to hear our most eminent and expert voices from all over the world.

The interviewee talks about a science department in well-understood Esperanto, clearly and simply illustrates the best-known insights into the current virus that is causing the worldwide pandemic, for some things they haven’t even heard in their native language about viruses and the current pandemic.
